The work of a librarian includes not only being in charge of attending people who want to ask questions related to books or the library itself. They are also in charge of the organization and implementation of an organization system for the books and other materials for the user’s disposition.

A librarian must have a big knowledge of computer use and computer specialized programs. They must know about information management. A librarian should be also be able to guide the user on what type of information or specific items they are looking for; interpersonal communication skills are desirable and must be specified on a librarian resume sample.

The degree that a person must accomplish to become a librarian is a MLS degree, which means Master of Library Science. Another way of calling a librarian is Information Professional; that name comes from the concept that a librarian’s main object of study or field of work is information, or more precisely, the management of information.
