Swami Vevekanand National Institute of Rehabilitation Training And Research (SVNIRTAR),  National Institute for the Orthopaedically Handicapped (NIOH) invites application for Common Entrance Test (CET-2012) for admission to Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT), Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics (BPO).

Entrance examination conducted by Swami Vivekanand National Institute of Rehabilitation Training and Research (SVNIRTAR) (under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt of India) Courses offered by SVNIRTAR, Cuttack are affiliated with Utkal University, Bhubaneswar and NIOH are affiliated to West Bengal University of Health Sciences, Kolkata

Bachelor of Physiotherapy (4 years plus 6 months internship)
Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (4 years plus 6 months internship)
Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics (4 years)

Entrance Examination Detail for CET 2012 by SVNIRTAR and NIOH : 08th July, 2012, Sunday, 11.00 a.m.
The entrance test will be of 2 hours (120 minutes) duration
Questions Answer will be book type, multiple choices type (objective type) of 10+2 standard
The entrance test shall have one paper consisting of two parts

Application Form for CET 2012 by SVNIRTAR and NIOH : Information brochure and application form can be downloaded from website www.nirtar.nic.inA demand draft of Rs 500/- for General and Rs 400/- for SC/ST/PH candidates should be send along with the downloaded form in favour of Director, SVNIRTAR payable at Cuttack
Incase of application submitted online, it will only be confirmed on receipt of demand draft

Application Submission for CET 2012 by SVNIRTAR and NIOH : The filled in application form complete in all respect should be submitted either by online mode or in a person or by posts so as to reach office of Chairman, CET-2012-Cum Director, Swami Vivekanand National Institute of Rehabilitation Training and Research, At Olatpur, PO Bairoi, Dist Cuttack, Orissa-754010 within stipulated period

Admit Card for CET 2012 by SVNIRTAR and NIOH : Admit cards will be issued displayed on website to the eligible candidates on or before the stipulated date
If admit card is not received within the stipulate date, candidates may download duplicate admit card from website or may contact Chairman, CET-2012, Director, SVNIRTAR, Olatpur, PO Bairoi, Dist Cuttack-754010, by Fax 0671-2805862, E-mail nirtar@ori.nic.in, Website www.nirtar.nic.in

Selection Procedure for CET 2012 by SVNIRTAR and NIOH : Merit list/waiting list will be generated on the basis of marks obtained in the common entrance test-2012
The result will be available on the websites www.nirtar.nic.in, www.nioh.in by stipulated date. The candidates are advised to appear for counseling based on result published on website
It is also advised that candidate should give their e-mail address in their application form and be in touch to their e-mail box without waiting for postal letter. Schedule of counseling will also be notified on website and notice boards of SVNIRTAR and NIOH.

• Last date of receipt and sale of application: 18th June, 2012
• Last date for receipt of application from North East States, J&K, Andaman and Nicobar Islands: 20th June, 2012
• Dispatch of admit card: 20th June, 2012
• Date of entrance examination: 08th July, 2012
• Declaration of result (tentative): 20th July, 2012
• 1st round of counseling: 22nd-23rd August, 2012
• 2nd round of counseling: 30th-31st August, 2012
• Session begins for NIOH: 05th September, 2012
• Session begins for SVNIRTAR: 03rd October, 2012
