Kerala CEE applications are invited for the Entrance Examination for admission to LL.M Course 2011 – 12 in the Government Law Colleges at Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Thrissur and Kozhikode.
Eligibility for Admission :
(i) Nativity: Applicant should be an Indian citizen of Kerala Origin.
(ii) Academic qualifications: Applicant should be a Graduate in any faculty of any University in Kerala or of any other Universities, recognized by any of the Universities in Kerala as equivalent thereto, with a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate (for all parts of the Degree examination taken together). Candidates seeking admission under SC/ST category should have passed the qualifying examination with 35% marks. Candidates who are appearing /have appeared for the qualifying examination (regular) this year are also eligible to apply for the Entrance Examination subject to the condition that they should produce the original Mark lists of all parts and Provisional Degree/Degree certificate of the qualifying examination at the time of Centralized Allotment Process (CAP).
(iii) Age: There is no upper age limit for admission to the 3 year LL.B Course.
Selection is made through the Entrance Examination, conducted at Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Thrissur and Kozhikkode on 14-08-2010 (Saturday). It will be of 3 hours duration and will consist of 200 Multiple Choice Questions. The Questions will cover General Knowledge, English and Aptitude for Legal Studies.
How to Apply :
Application forms and Prospectus can be downloaded from the official website of Commissioner for Entrance Examinations www.cee-kerala.org. For General candidates, the application fee is Rs.600/- (Rupees Six Hundred Only) and for SC/ST Candidates the application fee is Rs.300/- (Rupees Three Hundred Only).Keralites residing inside Kerala State, can remit the Application fee in any branch of the State bank of Travancore using the Challan provided on page No.7 of the application form. The original Challan contained in page No.7 shall be attached with the application form duly signed and authorized by Bank authorities on remittance of application fees. Keralites residing outside Kerala State, can remit the application fee by attaching a Demand Draft for the requisite amount drawn on a Nationalized Bank in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram.
Completed applications with all the documents should be forwarded to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Housing Board Buildings, 5th Floor, Santhinagar, Thiruvananthapuram – 695 001 either by Registered post or by hand delivery so as to reach him before the last date. Late applications will not be accepted. The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations will not be responsible for any postal delay. Incomplete, defective and wrongly addressed applications will be summarily rejected and no correspondence will be undertaken in this regard.
The admission to the course will be through a Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) after the publication of the results of the Entrance examination. The date, time and place of CAP will be announced later. Individual memos will not be sent to candidates in this regard. All original certificates in support of various claims preferred in the application form will have to be submitted at the time of Centralized Allotment Process. No extension of time will be granted for this.
The Entrance Examination and subsequent allotments will be based on the various provisions laid down in the prospectus, approved by Government. Candidates are directed to go through the various provisions in the Prospectus available in the Official website of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations “cee-kerala.org” before submitting their applications.
KLEE Syllabus :
for LLB Entrance examination consists of objective type questions in General knowledge, English and Aptitude for Legal Studies. For LLM entrance, the questions are of the standard of LLB Examination with questions in Jurisprudence, Constitutional Law , Law of Crimes, Law of Contracts, Public International Law, Administrative Law, Law of property, Company Law, Interpretation of statues, Law of Torts.

- Last Date of Kerala CEE LLM Application Form : 30th December, 2011 ( 5.00 PM. ).
- Kerala CEE LLM Entrance Examination will be conducted at Thiruvananthapuram : 15th January, 2012 ( Sunday ).
