<p><strong>Details of the Post :</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>No. of Vacancies – 5</li>
<li>Vacancies are for unreserved/general category. However,candidates from the reserved categories can also apply on same terms and conditions.</li>
<li>Postings will be in any of the following Circles of the Bank – Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Hyderabad &amp; North Eastern.</li>
<li>Maximum age for applying for the post is 60 years (as on 01.02.2012).</li>
<li>Candidate must be an Army Officer retired in the rank of Brigadier or Major General.</li>
<li>The selected candidate will be appointed on contractual basis for a period of two years, subject to half yearly review.</li>
<li>Candidate should be medically fit to move freely and undertake tours independently and should not suffer from any major ailment(s),which may adversely impact his performance in the Bank.</li>

<p><strong>Selection Procedure :</strong></p>

<li>Final selection will be on the basis of performance of interview alone.</li>

<p><strong> Eligibility</strong></p>

There is an application fee of Rs. 2000 (Rupees Two thousand only). Candidates belonging to the SC/ST category will pay Rs 1000 (Rupees One thousand only) and attach a attested copy of their caste certificate along with the completed application form. <p><strong>Eligibility Criteria :</strong><br />
The minimum academic qualification for admission through MUEEE 2012 is 50 % marks in PCM in the final examination<br />
of 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent referred to as the qualifying examination. For SC/ST/PH, a relaxation of 5% marks is<br />
there. Those appearing in 10+2 (Class XII) final or equivalent examination may also appear in MUEEE 2012 for<br />
consideration of provisional admission. Candidates who have passed 10+2 Examination on or before 2009 are<br />
not eligible to participate in MUEEE 2012.</p>

<li>Students who want to get Admission for the Lateral Entry  category will be based on the Merit List Scored in Objective Type Entrance Test Conducted by Joint Controller of the Examinations.</li>

The interview will be conducted for 100 marks but <span style="text-decoration: underline;">minimum qualifying mark</span> would be <strong>40 marks</strong> <em>(35 for SC/ST/OBC)</em><br />
<strong>Salary &amp; Bond for United Bank PO 2012:</strong><br />
Under the payscale of Rs.14500 – Rs.25700, officers shall be paid Rs.24995 /month approx.
