www.icai.org.in – The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India : The Committee for Capacity Building of CA Firms and Small & Medium Practitioners is a non-standing Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India formed under regulatory provisions of Chartered Accountants Act, 1949. This Committee was formed in the month of February, 2010 by the President, ICAI under nomenclature ‘Committee for Capacity Building of CA Firms and Small & Medium Practitioners’ (CCBCAF & SMP) by combining previously formed Committees, Committee for Capacity Building of CA Firms and Committee for Small & Medium Practitioners. Initially, this Committee was thought to establish for facilitating consolidation and capacity building of CA firms in order to address various problems faced by CA firms and to conceptualize and implement various means for strengthening their capacity as well as providing comprehensive guidelines for consolidation of CA firms.
Institute of Chartered Accountant of India (ICAI) one of the revenue department that fills the India’s treasury with the money and helps calculating the Gross Domestic Product , Income Tax , Productivity Growth , etc. Th organization has conducted its Common Proficiency Test in the month of June 2012, students opting for Commerce in their Senior Secondary Examination makes themselves eligible for the ICAI CPT Examination which is conducted every half yearly by the ICAI institution. Around 17 Lakh students attended this exam to get into the ICAI CPT organization as Chartered Accountants.
The Exam is further conducted in 2 more phases, and later on it turns into a personal interview making the selection procedure complete.
