KCET Answer key and Cutoff Marks 2012
Eligibility for CET 2012:-
Engineering:- Candidate should have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Electronics / Biology as optional subjects with English as one of the languages of study with minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate.
Architecture:- Candidate shoul have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics as a compulsory optional subject and obtained a minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate.
Medical/ Dental:- Candidate shoul have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent examination with hysics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects and with English as one of the languages of study and have obtained a minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate.
Ayurveda, Unani, Homoeopathy, Naturopathy & Yoga:- Candidate shoul have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects and with English as one of the languages of study and have obtained a minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate .
Karnataka Common Entrance Test (CET K 2012) Paper pattern:- Karnataka Common Entrance Test (CET K) has three papers Paper I and Paper II and Kannada Language Test for those whose mother tongue is Kannada (for Government Seats)
1. Paper I : There will be 120 questions to be attempted in 150mins i.e 2 1/2 hrs. The questions will be on the basis of physics & chemistry subjects. The paper will be of 120 marks.
2. Paper II : This is for 80 mins. There will be 60 Multiple choice questions for 60 marks. The questions will be on biology or mathematics depending on the course the candidate has applied for. (if you are applying for engineering or technology stream then your subject will be Mathematics & if you are applying for medical courses then your questions paper will be on Biology)
CET Karnataka Application Form 2012
All Karnataka state candidates can obtain the information brochure and Application Form for Common Entrance Test (CET) Karnataka from the Principles of their school / college by submitting a DD of requisite amount. Out station candidates can obtain the CET Karnataka Application Form by post from “Special Officer, CET Cell, Bangalore”.
Every year CET Cell Bangalore publishes notification regarding the sell of CET Karnataka Aapplication Form and Conduct of CET examination on its official website and different newspapers.
Important Dates KCET Admission Test 2012:
The last date for submission of demand draft to the Principal of Schools and Colleges within Karnataka will be 09th March, 2012
The last date for submission of demand draft by speed post will be 15th March, 2012
The brochure will be supplied to the schools and colleges in Karnataka and also to the students who are residing outside the State of Karnataka on or after 22nd March, 2012

Biology: 03rd May, 2012, Thursday, 10.30 a.m. to 11.50 a.m.
Mathematics: 03rd May, 2012, Thursday, 02.30 p.m. to 03.50 p.m.
Physics: 04th May, 2012, Friday, 10.30 a.m. to 11.50 a.m.
Chemistry: 04th May, 2012, Friday, 02.30 p.m. to 03.50 p.m.
Both for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga Candidates: 05th May, 2012, Saturday, 10.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.
